April 12 NYC w/ TV Azteca & The Fire an d Reason + MEXICO TOUR w/ Afrodita!

¡Hola Gente Corriente!

Chicago was awesome and the weather was much better than last time we went. The Rockers and the Punks came out to play and I guess a few of them danced a little too hard cause one guy threw a girl up in the air and BROKE HIS ARM when he tried to catch her!!! We didn't see this happen, but apparently there was blood all over the dance floor and an ambulence had to take him to the hospital. OUCH!! This story will become the answer to all the "what was your craziest memory while on tour" questions.

Thanx so much to DJ Nando, RatioNation, Enchufate, and DJ Cedeno for all the love, sweat, and blood!!!

About The Fire and Reason:
"Shut Up, Dance!" Is the name of the new EP by NYC Electro-Rock explosion THE FIRE AND REASON (TFaR), and it's that phrase that pretty much sums up everything TFaR 3.0 represents. Formed in 2006 by Bella Saona(from Brazil) and Steve Narvaez(from Ecuador) they have made their beats harder, their basslines drrtier and their songs even more decadent than in previous incarnations. Imagine a rabid Karen O singing over tracks written by Justice and remixed by MSTRKRFT! In a major coup TFaR got Paris' THE TOXIC AVENGER to remix their infectious hit "NME", and really put a BIG STOMP in the electro-dance world. Singing in both Spanish and Portuguese Bella remains true to her Latin roots. Sin Drogas off their first EP was a Spanish-indie rocker about addiction and love. New side project Força Do Futuro is grimy Baile Funk that gets played out live with The Fire and Reason. Live Bassist Lee Greenman, and Rapper Raphael Sousa joins them for a crazy, dance, pop explosion at Nacoteque Sat. April 12th! Don't miss it! Download their new EP "Shut Up, Dance" at www.thefireandreason.com, check out Sugar Koma here.
